Bishop Guli leads three-hour Good Friday meditation at St Martin-in-the-Fields

Bishop Guli led a three-hour Good Friday meditation at London’s St Martin-in-the-Fields Church this Easter, and chose a Leicestershire school student’s art work for the Order of Service at the prestigious church event.

Guli, who is Bishop of Loughborough, selected the winning art from a recent competition she set for the four Leicestershire Church of England secondary schools, to create art for her study wall.

The winning work was by Tudor Grange Samworth Academy student Jack Tsingis. You can see more about the competition by clicking here.

The service theme was ‘A cry from the cross for a lost homeland’ and featured Bishop Guli’s reflections on Jesus’s seven last sayings from the cross.
