Bishop Guli visits Falcons School

Bishop Guli visited the Falcons Primary School in Leicester recently and enjoyed talking and listening to the pupils and seeing their creative work around the school.

Falcons aims to nurture their pupils to ‘realise their full potential, academically, socially, physically and spiritually’, underpinned by their vision, values and virtues derived from the Sikh faith.

Accompanied by Revd Tom Wilson, Director of our St Philips Centre, Bishop Guli spent time in assembly, the playground and answering questions from the children.

They asked her  all about her job and what had inspired her to become a Bishop, how much she prays and how many schools she has visited!

Afterwards, Headteacher Jasbir Mann said: “We enjoyed learning about Bishop Guli’s role and delighted she spent time with us.”
