The House of Bishops, which has been meeting in York this week, has issued a statement on the situation in Gaza.
Fifteen Church of England bishops, including the Rt Revd Martyn Snow, Bishop of Leicester, have joined Jewish, Muslim, and other Christian leaders in urging the Prime Minister to reconsider migration rhetoric that they warn risks deepening division and undermining compassion.
Bishop Martyn joins senior faith leaders from across the country in an urgent call for the government to go further and be 'bold and ambitious' in its forthcoming Child Poverty Strategy.
