With grateful thanks for his ministry, the Bishop announces that Mr Anthony Wessel will be retiring as Bishop’s Officer for Retired Clergy and Families, with effect from Tuesday 18 April 2023. Accordingly, the Bishop is pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Tony Leighton, Master of Wyggestons and Associate Priest in the Benefice of Holy Apostles, also as Bishop’s Officer for Retired Clergy and Widowed Families of Clergy. Tony will be licensed by the Bishop of Leicester, The Rt Revd Martyn Snow, on Tuesday 25 April 2023 at 8.30am during morning prayer at Bishop’s Lodge
