30th November 2019
1 in 10 young people have diagnosed mental illness and many more experience poor mental health during adolescence. Youth Mental Health First Aid is a two day course accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health. It seeks to equip those working with young people to recognise and respond to young people experiencing poor mental health. Over the two days we explore depression, anxiety, suicide, psychosis, self harm and eating disorders and look at an action plan that can be impliemented to support young people and their families.

The course takes place at St Martins House, LE1 5PZ.

Attendance at both parts of the course is required. Day Two takes place on Saturday 7th December from 9.30am-4.30pm.
