Bishop Martyn is delighted to announce the Mr Andy Smith has agreed to take on the role of Warden of Readers, initially for a period of 18 months.
Andy is a Reader at St Helen’s, Ashby-de-la-Zouch and was licensed in 2013. He runs his own business (Changesmith.solutions) as a Coach and has worked with the diocese in coaching both clergy and Readers. He is strongly committed to Reader ministry and will be working with Bishop Martyn to align Reader ministry with the national vision which you will have read about in the Reader magazine (and will be reading a lot more about in the coming months!)
There will be a slight delay before Andy can take up the position, so in the meantime, please continue to contact the Mission and Ministry Team with any queries about Reader ministry. We will announce a date for Andy’s licensing soon. And please pray for Andy as he takes up this exciting new opportunity.
