We are pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Andrew Micklethwaite, who currently holds Bishop’s Permission to Officiate in the Diocese of Leicester, as Chaplain of Wyggestons and Trinity Almshouse Charity, and Associate Priest of Holy Apostles Leicester.
The date of Andrew’s licensing will be announced in due course.
In conjunction with this, we announce with grateful thanks and prayers of blessing for the future, that The Revd Canon Barry Naylor will be resigning as Chaplain of Trinity Hospital, effective from the date of Andrew’s licensing, following the recent merger of Trinity Hospital and Wyggeston's Hospital, and the appointment of a Chaplain to have responsibility throughout the new charity.
Barry will continue to hold PTO in the diocese.
