The Bishop announces the death of The Revd Eustace Smith, aged 100. Eustace was ordained in 1946 and served curacies in the dioceses of Exeter and Southwell and Nottingham. Eustace was Vicar at Buckminster with Sewstern, in this diocese, from 1959 – 1982 before moving to Lincoln. He retired in 1989 and held the Bishop’s Permission to Officiate in Leicester from 1989 – 2000. He leaves a daughter and a son.
