The Bishop announces the death of the Revd Graham Gittings aged 72 on 6th November 2019.
Graham was ordained in 1979 and served his curacy in the Dioceses of Lichfield and Chelmsford, before moving to be Vicar of Earl Shilton and Elmesthorpe in this Diocese in 1989.
Graham retired in 2011 and moved to Stoke-on-Trent, but still held the Bishop’s Permission to Officiate in Leicester until September 2019.
He leaves behind his wife, Deena and son, Christian.
