The Bishop announces the death of The Revd Michael Drew, aged 88.
Michael was ordained in 1957 and served his curacy in Plymouth. He was Priest in Charge at Pembroke College Mission, St Christopher’s Walworth from 1963-1967. From 1967, Michael served as Chaplain at Allhallows School, Rousdon, Dorset, and then at Exeter School from 1981-83. He moved to the Diocese of Leicester in 1983, serving as Vicar of Scraptoft (and Hungarton from 1983-1987) and Netherhall (from 1987) until his retirement in 1997.
He leaves his wife, Lesley and adult children. A simple funeral will be held on Tuesday 5 May.
