The Bishop announces the death of the Revd Peter Townsend aged 83 on Sunday 31st March 2019.
Peter was ordained in 1964 and served his curacy in the Canterbury Diocese before moving to Peterborough in 1974. He retired to Oakham in 2014 and held the Bishop’s Permission to Officiate in Peterborough and Leicester until 2017.
