The Minority Anglican Project is a large-scale research project that aims to explore and learn from the experiences of minority ethnic Anglicans in the Church.
A collaboration between the Church of England – Birmingham and the Cadbury Centre, in the School of Philosophy, Theology & Religion at the University of Birmingham, the project is directed by Dr Andrew Davies, Director of the Cadbury Centre with Revd Dr Sharon Prentis and will be run by Cognitive Psychologist Dr Sanjee Perera.
How can I take part?
We are looking for participants to fill out a questionnaire which will help us gather information about the experiences of both clergy and laity within the Church.

Can I take part if I’m not Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic (BAME) or Anglican?
Yes. The only qualifying criterion to take part in this study is that you are over eighteen years old and self-identify as a Christian. While this study is primarily focused on the experience of minority ethnic people within Anglican congregations, we hope to collect a non CofE, non BAME sample for comparison.
