Dates for Capital Fund Committee meetings in 2019 have now been published on the diocesan website. The first meeting is in February with the closing date for applications set as 6th February.

Wednesday Mailing returning in 2019
From the beginning of January a fortnightly mailing will be sent out for those who would like it. It will contain details of upcoming course, training and conferences along with infomation about available resources for mission and ministry.

Vocations Resources available
Ministry Division have recently launched a new set of resources to help explorers discerning a vocation to ministry, to equip clergy in growing vocations. These are available to order online and add to those already available on the Church Print Hub.

Waste collection and charging for churches
The Churches’ Legislation Advisory Service has recently issued the following reminder about about exemption from charging for the collection of waste from churches and situations where the exemption might not apply, as follows. Paragraph 1 of Schedule 1 to the Controlled Waste Regulations 2012 classifies waste from a hereditament or premises exempt from local non-domestic rating by virtue of, in England and Wales, paragraph 11 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Finance Act 1988 as household waste.
