The Revd Andy Giles and The Revd Jack Wixon
Further to the announcement dated 20 August advising that The Revd Andy Giles has been appointed as Interim Associate Priest, we can confirm that Andy will be licensed by the Bishop of Leicester, The Rt Revd Martyn Snow, on Thursday 14 October at 8.30am at Bishops Lodge. The Revd Jack Wixon will also receive his license during this chapel service. Jack has had his licence extended until 30 June 2022.

The Bishop announces the death of The Very Revd Derek Hole, aged 87, on Saturday 4 September 2021.

Ian Imlay
The diocese has learned of the death of Ian Imlay MBE. Mr Imlay was a much loved member of St Nicholas Church in the city centre and was the organist there for more than 60 years. He has also played the organ at various other churches around the diocese including St Mary Magdalene in Kilby, St Peter’s Church in Oadby and Leicester Cathedral.
