The Revd Stephen Burnham is no longer employed as the Chaplain at the Leicestershire Organisation for the Relief of Suffering (LOROS) and for the time being, no longer holds the Bishop’s Licence for ministry.
We are pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Emily Sharman, Pioneer Curate in the Akeley East Deanery, as Rector in the Benefice of The Fenn Lanes Group.
Will be licensed to his new role in the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich on Monday 25 March 2024.
With grateful thanks for his ministry and prayers of blessing for the future, we announce that The Revd Mark Poskitt, Rector in the Benefice of Bosworth, and Area Dean of Sparkenhoe West, has been appointed as Priest in Charge in the Benefice of Carlton with Drax and the Benefice of Haddlesey and Hambleton in the Diocese of York.
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr David Spencer, Associate Minister at Barrow-Upon-Soar with Walton-Le-Wolds, also as Anglican Chaplain at HMP Fosse Way.

The Revd Christopher Johnson is to be seconded to the position of Assistant Archdeacon while remaining Associate Vicar in the Wigston Benefice while The Venerable Claire Wood, Archdeacon of Loughborough, will be licenced to exercise any archidiaconal function within the Archdeaconry of Leicester, during the period of Archdeacon Richard’s sabbatical.
