Notifiying us of your APCM Election Results
First published on: 19th October 2020DCC/PCC Secretaries – or Parish Clergy where we know of vacancies as D/PCC Secretaries – will be sent an email in mid or late-November about how to do this. It will give the list of parish officers currently on the Diocesan Database and ask for their details to be checked and updated as appropriate. N.B. Please don't complete one of the forms that used to be sent out but wait for the email to be sent to you in November with new instructions.

General Synod by-election
First published on: 12th October 2020The General Synod elections which were due to be held in 2020 have been postponed until 2021 because of the pandemic. Nonetheless there is currently a by-election taking place following the resignation of Jonathan Cryer who has been one of the three diocesan lay representatives on General Synod for the last five years. The person elected will have the chance to attend two meetings of General Synod (November 2020 and July 2021) before the main elections take place in the autumn of 2021.
Ride + Stride 2020
First published on: 21st September 2020Ride+Stride on Saturday 12th September took place in perfect weather with people all over Leicester and Leicestershire registering at nearly 300 churches and chapels, travelling around by bike or on foot, and with at least two people on horseback.
