The Mother's Union Knitted Chain, made up of over 10000 links to represent the victims of modern day slavery in Leicester and Leicestershire, has been on display at the Chapel in the Community of the Tree of Life.
The residents of the Community as well as other Christians from across the diocese who had signed up for the monthly 24 hour Prayer Leicester in March prayed for those individuals.
Those who prayed could downloaded a 60-minute prayer guide from the Community webiste and signed up for a one hour slot throughout the day and night.
