There has been a very special 20 minute online service for all of the Year 6 leavers from our Church schools across the Diocese of Leicester who couldn't this year come to the Cathedral.
With an uplifting encouragement from our Director of Education, Carolyn Lewis, a message from Bishop Guli, prayers from Bishop Martyn, a reading from Barlestone Primary pupil, Arthur, as well as the inspiring Looking To The Rainbow song by children from across the country, it is well worth watching.
Perhaps share it with your church and use it as a prayer prompt for all the teachers, staff, children and parents in our 97 schools who are working together to look after our children during the pandemic, especially those who are leaving their school to go on to a new school in September without the usual gatherings to celebrate and say goodbye.
