As the year draws to a close, and we get ready to celebrate the birth of Christ, the final baptisms and confirmations of 2024 have taken place in the diocese.
Our Bishops travelled the length and breadth of the diocese during the year, joining our many worshipping communities in prayer, praise, and celebration.
In November and December, a host of people made a commitment to Jesus Christ with the support of their church, family and friends.
We celebrate and pray for all those who were confirmed from the following churches:
St Paul’s Church in Oadby, St Peter’s Church in Oadby, St Andrew’s Church in Countesthorpe, St Hugh in Eyres Monsell, St James the Greater in Huncote, St Nicholas in Fleckney, St Andrew’s Jarrom Street in Leicester, St Simon and St Jude Earl in Shilton, St Philip’s in Evington and St Peter’s in Highfields.
Please do pray for all those newly baptised and confirmed in our diocese, and for the clergy and lay leaders who prepared them and guide them in their discipleship.
