Bishop Saju took time to meet and worship with many people around the diocese during October, admitting to communion, baptising and confirming a number of candidates on his journeys.
His travels took him to St Laurence Church in Measham at the beginning of the month, where he confirmed five members of the Woodfield Team and five from Holy Trinity Church in Ashby. Those confirmed into the church gave witness of their faith to a congregation of family, friends and church members, during an uplifting service.
Later in the month, Bishop Saju presided over a service of Admission to Communion for Effie and Alana, and Confirmation for Tracy, at Christchurch in Thurnby Lodge.
There was much joy and celebration for the two young people, Effie and Alana, making their early commitments of faith, alongside Tracey’s confirmation. The congregation applauded as Bishop Saju led Effie, Alana and Tracy through the church and out through the doors.
