Churches urged to join online celebration of the Easter story

Bishop Martyn and other Leicestershire church leaders are encouraging churches to promote and join the online 'Leicestershire at the Cross' broadcast which will happen at 6pm on Good Friday.

David Hind, Senior Pastor or Leicester's Trinity Life Church, has helped coordinate the multi-denominational effort  and said he and his wife have seen the preview of the broadcast and said: "It is without doubt one of the best online services we have ever watched. It is brilliant and you will love it. We have the opportunity to come together as one group of Jesus followers from different denominations and traditions to celebrate the empty cross and the Hope we carry.

"Let’s do all we can to get as many people there as possible on YouTube at 5.45pm on Friday evening. Spread it to other churches and every Christian you know in Leicestershire. And share this direct link with them all: https://youtu.be/WgndE03tHkY. 'How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!' Psalm 133:1."
