Climate Sunday celebrated at St Dionysius

On Sunday 12 September St Dionysius Church in Market Harborough celebrated Climate Sunday by having a seed giveaway! In the photo above Zebedee, Katie, Lucy and Sam have their wildflower seeds and are ready to make a difference to biodiversity by planting them in their gardens.

During the special service guest speaker Revd Andrew Quigley, Environmental Officer for Leicester Diocese, presents the Eco Church Silver Award to Lin Ball of the eco team at St Dionysius. The award recognises the congregation’s success in ‘greening’ the church building, individual lifestyles and in raising awareness about climate issues in the community.
