Sunday saw a new phase in the ministry of Revd Crystal McAllister, previously Ordained Pioneer Curate in the Upper Wreake group of churches, as she was licensed to a new role which will see her leading on and encouraging pioneer ministry across the whole Framland Deanery. This will see her providing support to Lay Pioneers and Associate Ministers within the Deanery. Crystal will also be looking to facilitate the development and creation of new fresh expressions of Church and other innovative ways of connecting those who currently don’t attend church with the Christian faith. Richard Worsefold, Archdeacon of Leicester, licensed Crystal on behalf of the Bishop at a meeting of the café Church in St Mary Magdalene, Woltham in the Wolds. The service was led by Mike and Christine Alexander, both Associate Ministers and leaders of the café Church.
