It was a deanery wide celebration as the churches of Framland, in the north-east of the diocese, came together for a joint service of Baptism and Confirmation earlier this month.
Bishop Saju baptised two candidates and confirmed ten during afternoon worship on Sunday 11 February at St Guthlac’s Church in Stathern.
Matthew, Georgie, Eliza, Tina, David, Euan and Suzanne, were among those making their commitment to God, and the church was full of their friends, family and church communities.
They were also supported by the leaders who had prepared them for baptism and confirmation, including Reader Lisa Smith, Associate Minister Christine Alexander, Revd Crystal McAllister, Revd David Harknett, Revd Paul Towns and Revd John Barr.
