During the forthcoming visit of our link Bishops to Leicester before the Lambeth Conference, Ezerada Chambala, the President of Mothers' Union in Kiteto, is seeking our help at an afternoon tea meeting on 22 July, 2.30–4.30 pm at the Church of the Martyrs, Westcote Drive, Leicester, LE3 0QT.
Ezerada will be introducing a discussion on the subject of girl marriage and the practice of genital mutilation, which is a particular issue for the Masaai tribe (and other tribes local to the Kiteto Diocese). Ezereda will also be sharing the details of a project that MU Kiteto is embarking on to address these issues.
