There are so many fabulous resources around offering inspiration, reflection, prayer and purpose for our personal Lent journeys.
In Loughborough, Emmanuel Church has created a podcast series to encourage their church family, telling ‘ordinary stories that reveal the extraordinary God that we worship’.
They have kindly extended the resource to their fellow Christians across the diocese that we too may be encouraged by listening to these stories.
‘Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us...’ HEBREWS 12.1
Ordinary Stories from a Cloud of Witnesses is a great listen for anyone exploring the Christian faith in the lead-up to Easter. It shares stories of how we see God in our everyday lives.
These are not all big life-changing moments (although some are!) but stories of light, hope, faith, trust, and provision.
Forty short audio stories will be released - one each day throughout Lent on their social media accounts (YouTube, Facebook and Instagram) - beginning on 18 February.
