The Revd Sue Willetts, has been announced as the next Diocesan Director of Ordinands following Canon Paul Rattigan's recent move to the Diocese of Notts and Southwell.
Easter Sunday will be Sue's final day at the Good Shepherd Church in Loughborough, where she has been Vicar for the last six years. She has been part of the Diocesan vocations team for almost 4 years, working with a variety of candidates all exploring God’s call on their life to serve him in the church and the world, and she has been interim Diocesan Director of Ordinands since Paul's departure.
Speaking of the appointment Sue said, "I am already very privileged to work with such a great vocations team, and now I am also looking forward to helping many more people explore their vocation to serve God in the many ways I have been able to enjoy, and more, since I was ordained myself in 2008, and before; especially at this time when as a Diocese we are developing our Minster Communities framework in order to care for, and reach, many more people in our diverse communities with the Gospel."
