This week marks the beginning of the annual global prayer movement for more people to come to know Jesus
The Bishop of Leicester walked and prayed around much of the diocese for the six weekends during Lent
Monthly Muddy Church began just under a year ago, to connect people with God in the great outdoors
The local organisation recently delivered its 50th weekend course in the diocese

Lockdown had its disadvantages and devastations, but for one deanery in the diocese, time kept out of its church buildings has helped create a wonderful online worshipping community that continues to flourish post pandemic…
If ever there was a bigger and more prominent prompt for everyday prayer, it’s these carved praying hands in the front garden of St Peter’s Church in Oadby.
Walking around the diocese at weekends in the run up to Easter 2023, he will visit many of the churches he has not yet been able to and encourage people in prayer.
People came to pray for unity, reconciliation, harmony and peace among our communities in Leicester.
