Find out more about Everyday Calling in the diocese and how our vison for lay ministry has been renewed over the last year.
On Saturday 23 January our annual Called Together Service took place on Zoom. This service should have taken place in October 2020 but was delayed due to the pandemic. Every year this service celebrates the incredible variety and contribution of lay ministers to the Diocese of Leicester. It also gives us the opportunity to pray for the new ministers and encourages us all to consider our own gifts and calling.
Katie has been a nurse for 45 years and works in consultancy and training. She has been a member of her church family for more than 25 years. She lives just outside the city and is part of a community which celebrates diversity and culture. She is particularly concerned with poverty and deprivation in her area…
