Children and Young People from the Diocese Describe What Helps Them Pray
20th June 2024Seeing prayer as a conversation with God and preferring silent prayer in a calm environment to praying out loud or using apps were among the key findings of this term’s listening exercise on the theme of prayer, which involved nearly 150 children and young people, aged 6 to 17.
Draft Diocesan Strategy Presented to Leaders From Across Diocese
20th June 2024Following a discernment morning in January, members of Diocesan Synod, Diocesan Trustees, Bishop’s Children and Youth Council, Bishop’s Council, Area Deans, Lay Chairs and the Bishop’s Leadership Team met on Wednesday 19 June to review the draft diocesan strategy, in advance of it coming to Diocesan Synod in September.
