This year, the Download Chaplaincy Team had a real sense of walking on holy ground. A team of 60 ecumenical chaplains from across the country gathered on a dusty field at Donington Park to welcome 80,000 festival goers. It was hot, it was dusty, it was fun, and it was very loud!
Palm Sunday at St Denys Church in Evington was an extra special celebration on Sunday as the service was taken out into the community.
Sunday 9 February is Racial Justice Sunday. Entering its 30th year of celebration, this is a unique day in which we, as the body of Christ, highlight the continued need to oppose racism and pursue racial justice.
Throughout Advent, churches all around the diocese have been sharing the Christmas story and blessing their communities in many creative and inspiring ways.
