Could you facilitate a listening group around the theme of prayer with children or young people in your context?
Young people from around the Diocese of Leicester showed the Archdeacons of England and Wales how they like to worship by leading a series of prayer and praise sessions.
On Saturday 27 January, nearly a hundred leaders from across the diocese gathered for a discernment morning to shape and guide the development of our diocesan strategy.
We are now piloting a range of recruitment and training programmes for children and youth leaders.
Next month we are holding a diocesan vocations day, as an opportunity for people to explore their sense of calling.
From Vicars dressed up as Christingles to live Nativities on the farm, there has been much joy and merriment in sharing ‘the greatest story ever told’ with our schools, churches, and worshipping communities.

The recent findings of our latest ‘listening exercise’ with children and young people in the diocese, on the theme of leadership.
An intergenerational worshipping community in Market Harborough have been putting their own spin on scripture, by taking Bible verses that speak to them and rewording them as prayers.
At a time when important, and often difficult, conversations are being held within the Church of England, Christians around the diocese are being encouraged to engage with the reconciliation ministry course, Difference.
