If ever there was a bigger and more prominent prompt for everyday prayer, it’s these carved praying hands in the front garden of St Peter’s Church in Oadby.
Walking around the diocese at weekends in the run up to Easter 2023, he will visit many of the churches he has not yet been able to and encourage people in prayer.
People came to pray for unity, reconciliation, harmony and peace among our communities in Leicester.
As disciples, and as a diocese, celebrating diversity and upholding racial justice and equity, is a significant priority.
