The Diocese of Leicester has been awarded £925,000 over the next three years to support the formation and equipping of Minster Communities.

There has been inaccurate reporting in some parts of the national media about how the Diocese of Leicester's Minster Communities will work. We have provided some important clarifications.
At last week’s Synod, the meeting was updated on the progress made on forming Minster Communities and had a chance to hear from five people involved in different ways and at different stages in the process.
A celebratory service of inauguration was held for the newly forming Launde Minster Community
After much prayer and discernment, discussion and working in partnership across parishes, the launch of the first Minster Community, in Launde, will take place later this month
As we move into a new phase of the Minster Community formation process across the diocese and prepare to roll it out beyond the initial three areas that were piloting the process, Bishop Martyn interviews Shayne Ardron who helped facilitate one of the pilots to discover how things have gone and what we’re learning so far.
