Knitting to Remember

16th November 2020

Like many of the churches around the diocese St Thomas a Becket, Skeffington, marked Remembrance Sunday with a single church bell toll marking the two minutes silence. Residents stood on the front porches and driveways to remember. But the church looked different – they had had a surprise ‘yarn bomb' decorating the outside of the church in knitted poppies.
