We are pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Paul Betts, currently Curate in the Benefice of Wigston, as Rector in the Benefice of Bosworth.
Further to the announcement dated Thursday 9 January 2025 regarding The Revd Phillippa Taylor, Assistant Curate of Church of the Martyrs, we can announce that Phillippa’s licensing date in the Diocese of Derby has changed to Sunday 9 March 2025, 3pm at Boulton St Mary’s Church.
With grateful thanks for her ministry and prayers of blessing for the future, we announce that The Revd Jane Sharp, Self Supporting Minister in the Benefice of St James the Greater, has retired from all ministry roles with immediate effect.
With grateful thanks for her ministry and prayers of blessing for the future, we announce that The Revd Jayne Lewis, Priest in Charge in the Benefice of The Whatborough Parishes, and Co-Area Dean of Launde Deanery, will be retiring with effect from 31 May 2025. Jayne’s final Sunday in the Benefice will be Sunday 18 May 2025.
Further to the announcement dated Sunday 8th December 2024 advising that The Revd Phillippa Taylor, Assistant Curate of Church of the Martyrs, has been appointed Priest-in-Charge of Boulton St Mary, in the Diocese of Derby, we can now confirm that Phillippa will be licensed to her new role on Wednesday 26 February 2025, and her final Sunday in the Benefice will be 9 February 2025.

The Revd Dr Vijay Kumar has been appointed as Pioneer Priest in the Parish of the Resurrection and will be licensed on Tuesday 14 January 2025.
