Holy Trinity Church in Thrussington has been on a fundraising campaign for the past two years. Their latest fundraiser - a fun, rhyming storybook - has been a big hit.
After much hard work, planning, preparation and prayer, St Mary’s Church in Lutterworth has recently opened the Churchgate Community Centre - a newly renovated space in the town, dedicated to the community.
A recent Sunday morning service at St Peter’s in Horninghold was attended by nine enthusiastic, four-legged friends as the church held its second annual Pets & Prosecco service, celebrating mankind’s special relationship with their furry family members.
Decked out in rainbow colours to celebrate God’s wonderful creation, St Mary in Charnwood Church looked quite the part for its community Eco Fair held recently.
Four parishes have found a creative way of inviting members of their communities and children at their local schools to engage with the events of Holy Week by setting up a Way of the Cross across their churchyards with artwork by local children and audio reflections by their ministers.
Revd Emily Sharman was welcomed into St Margaret of Antioch’s Church during a joyful service of induction, and commitment to shared ministry in the rural benefice of the Fenn Lanes.
It has been a big year for St Michael & All Angels Church in Ravenstone, celebrating its 700th birthday and successfully securing a National Lottery Heritage Fund grant.
