Revd Emily Sharman was welcomed into St Margaret of Antioch’s Church during a joyful service of induction, and commitment to shared ministry in the rural benefice of the Fenn Lanes.
It has been a big year for St Michael & All Angels Church in Ravenstone, celebrating its 700th birthday and successfully securing a National Lottery Heritage Fund grant.
Malcolm, a member of one of our worshipping communities who works with the Farming Community Network has provided an updated first verse to the much-loved hymn We Plough the Fields and Scatter, which is more in line with modern agricultural practices.

The Rural Coffee Connect mobile barista van rolled into Oaks in Charnwood recently, to join forces with the community and St James the Greater Church, to help tackle rural isolation and loneliness.
