The Bishops of Leicester and Loughborough 'Took The Knee' outside Leicester Cathedral to mark two weeks since George Floyd's death and highlight injustice in our own society.
The Bishop of Leicester has confirmed planning for a memorial service for local people who have died of coronavirus and thanksgiving for health and care workers
The Knife Angel sculpture, which has been touring towns and cities across the UK including many cathedrals, is coming to Leicester Cathedral. It will be on display in the grounds of the Cathedral from 2 to 29 May.
A feast of colour and culture, the Diocese of Leicester service is open to all. Civic and community guests will be welcomed by the Bishop of Leicester Martyn Snow.
