Following the death of Pope Francis, aged 88, on Easter Monday morning, Bishop Martyn and Bishop Saju paid tribute to his Holiness.
Palm Sunday at St Denys Church in Evington was an extra special celebration on Sunday as the service was taken out into the community.
In their Easter message, The Rt Revd Martyn Snow, Bishop of Leicester and the Rt Revd Saju Muthalaly, Bishop of Loughborough reflect on the ways and places we might 'recognise' Jesus.
A service of welcome and commitment to shared ministry in the Benefice of the Resurrection was recently held to receive the Reverend Dr Vijay Kumar in his role as Pioneer Priest.
Bishop Saju recently joined Canon Malcolm Britton and around 150 other people from the farming communities and surrounding villages of Melton and Loughborough in an ecumenical ‘lambing service’ at Hall Farm in Brooksby.
