Bishop Saju took time off work to visit family and speak at a very special church in India
As we seek to be more ‘intergenerational' in our worshiping communities, churches around the diocese are experimenting with new and creative ways to explore everyday faith together among all ages. One such church is St Paul's in Oadby who, as an Intercultural Worshiping Community, is on a journey of discovery, growing together in diversity across its many forms.
As a growing Intercultural Worshipping Community (IWC), their vision is: all ages, all cultures, living together in Jesus.
It is hoped that Jessie will start work in our diocese in June
A new art, faith and culture group with a Christian ethos has emerged in Leicester, bringing together women from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, who are mostly asylum seekers and refugees.
The Lord Lieutenant, civic guests, school children and students were among the attending the service which featured eagles and Indian languages
A special Eucharist service in London saw three new bishops consecrated with lots of links to Leicestershire
The special service will be at St Paul's Cathedral, London
Bishop-elect Saju and Bishop-elect Lusa will be among those taking part
Sunday 5 December saw an exciting step taken in the growing relationship between the congregations of St Andrew's, Jarrom Street and the Filipino Chaplaincy in Leicester.
