Lots of churches use WhatsApp these days for communicating internally with church members or for smaller groups within the church (eg: prayer chains, homegroups, pastoral care teams etc.) We have been informed by Leicestershire Police’s Cyber Crime Unit about a scam specifically targeting church groups.

With escalating energy bills, common sense tells us it’s a good idea to shut doors and turn the heating down a notch. But there are many other cheap or free things that parishes can do to reduce their energy usage, and in turn their bills and carbon footprint.

Final Accounts – Once your accounts for last year are prepared they need to be inspected by an Independent Examiner, approved by the PCC at the APCM and submitted to the Diocesan Finance Team.
