A few days before their ordination, Rachael, Heather, Nicholas, Stuart and Cameron shared with us what it means for them to be stepping into the next chapter of their ministry.
It was a service of shared celebration among the congregations of Coalville as 10 people – most of whom were teenagers - were baptised by full immersion, with one renewing their baptism vows, in the grounds of Christ Church.
On Saturday 18 May, 11 new Associate Ministers were licensed at the annual Called Together service - a celebration and licensing of lay ministers from across the diocese, including Pastoral Assistants, Pioneers and Evangelists.
