The Bishops of Leicester and Loughborough 'Took The Knee' outside Leicester Cathedral to mark two weeks since George Floyd's death and highlight injustice in our own society.
The Bishop of Loughborough is calling for a comprehensive public enquiry following this week's report highlighting disparities in impact of the Coronavirus, as well as urging the Government to outline what steps will be taken to tackle racial prejudice more widely.
Erica is 16 years old, a Christian and a climate activist. She sits on the Bishop's Youth Council and the Diocesan Environmental Group, as well as being a prominent figure in the youth movement, Climate Strike Leicester.
The diocese has registered with awarding body A Rocha to become an Eco Diocese within the next two years. Read to find out how some churches are making steps forward as part of this commitment.
