The Revd Nigel Rostock

The Bishop is pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Nigel Rostock, Curate in the Evington Benefice, as Vicar and Pioneer Priest in the Benefice of St. Peter Braunstone Park.


The Revd Noel Colley

The Bishop announces that The Revd Noel Colley, Associate Priest in the Benefice of Groby and Ratby, will be retiring with effect from 30 May 2022. Noel's final Sunday will be 8 May.


The Revd Dr Wilma Colley

The Bishop announces that The Revd Dr Wilma Colley, Curate in the Woodfield Team Benefice, has been appointed as Vicar of Chipping St Bartholomew, in the Diocese of Blackburn.


The Revd Sue Willetts

Further to the previous announcement advising that The Revd Sue Willetts has been appointed as Diocesan Director of Ordinands. It is now confirmed that Sue will begin this new role on Monday 25 April and will be licensed during the Monday Diocesan Eucharist on 9 May 2022 at 8.15am at St Nicholas' Church.


The Revd Tom Brown

The Bishop is pleased to announce that The Revd Tom Brown, Curate within the Benefice of Lutterworth with Cotesbach and Bitteswell, has extended his curacy for 12 months until 30 April 2023.


Mission and Pastoral Measure 2011, Parish of Great Glen, Church of Saint Giles, Stretton Magna

The Commissioners have made a Pastoral Church Buildings Scheme relating to the above parish on the 20 February 2022 and it will come into effect on the 1 March 2022.


The Revd Susan Leighton

The Bishop announces that The Revd Susan Leighton, will be stepping down as Chaplain to the Church of the Good Shepherd (for the deaf and hard of hearing) from Sunday 17 April.


The Revd Mark Cooper

The Bishop announces that The Revd Mark Cooper, Curate in the Benefice of Holy Trinity Hinckley, has been appointed as Pastor of Central Church Warrington, a new Bishop's Mission Order in the Diocese of Liverpool.


Area Deans of the Guthlaxton Deanery

The Bishop is pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Jane Micklethwaite and The Revd Richard Reakes as Interim Co-Area Deans of the Guthlaxton Deanery. This will be for a period of one year, running in parallel with their current roles.


The Revd Lydia Humphreys

The Bishop announces that The Revd Lydia Humphreys, Vicar in the Benefice of Shepshed and Oaks in Charnwood, will be retiring with effect from 30 June 2022.
