The Bishop is pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Stewart Betts, currently Curate in the Benefice of Cosby and Whetstone, as Priest in Charge in the Benefice of Cosby & Whetstone and Priest in Charge designate in the Parish of Narborough.


The Revd Nigel Rostock - Licensing date

Further to the announcement advising that The Revd Nigel Rostock has been appointed as Vicar and Pioneer Priest in the Benefice of St Peter Braunstone Park, we can now confirm that Nigel's Institution and Induction service will be conducted by the Bishop of Leicester, The Rt Revd Martyn Snow on Monday 18 July at 7.30pm at St Peter's Church, Braunstone.


The Revd Adebowale Adelaja

The Bishop is pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Adebowale (Debo) Adelaja, currently Associate Vicar in the Benefice of All Saints Fullham in the Diocese of London, as Associate Priest in the Benefice of All Saints with Holy Trinity, Loughborough.


The Revd Canon Jonathan Dowman - Licensing

Further to the announcement advising that The Revd Canon Jonathan Dowman has been appointed as Associate Priest and Growing Faith Enabler in the Launde Deanery, I can now confirm that Jonathan will be licensed by the Bishop of Leicester, The Rt Revd Martyn Snow on Friday 29 April at 3.30pm at St Thomas a Becket Church, Tugby.


The Revd Nigel Rostock

The Bishop is pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Nigel Rostock, Curate in the Evington Benefice, as Vicar and Pioneer Priest in the Benefice of St. Peter Braunstone Park.


The Revd Noel Colley

The Bishop announces that The Revd Noel Colley, Associate Priest in the Benefice of Groby and Ratby, will be retiring with effect from 30 May 2022. Noel's final Sunday will be 8 May.


The Revd Dr Wilma Colley

The Bishop announces that The Revd Dr Wilma Colley, Curate in the Woodfield Team Benefice, has been appointed as Vicar of Chipping St Bartholomew, in the Diocese of Blackburn.


The Revd Sue Willetts

Further to the previous announcement advising that The Revd Sue Willetts has been appointed as Diocesan Director of Ordinands. It is now confirmed that Sue will begin this new role on Monday 25 April and will be licensed during the Monday Diocesan Eucharist on 9 May 2022 at 8.15am at St Nicholas' Church.


The Revd Tom Brown

The Bishop is pleased to announce that The Revd Tom Brown, Curate within the Benefice of Lutterworth with Cotesbach and Bitteswell, has extended his curacy for 12 months until 30 April 2023.


Mission and Pastoral Measure 2011, Parish of Great Glen, Church of Saint Giles, Stretton Magna

The Commissioners have made a Pastoral Church Buildings Scheme relating to the above parish on the 20 February 2022 and it will come into effect on the 1 March 2022.
