The Bishop announces that The Revd Susan Leighton, will be stepping down as Chaplain to the Church of the Good Shepherd (for the deaf and hard of hearing) from Sunday 17 April.
The Bishop announces that The Revd Mark Cooper, Curate in the Benefice of Holy Trinity Hinckley, has been appointed as Pastor of Central Church Warrington, a new Bishop's Mission Order in the Diocese of Liverpool.
The Bishop is pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Jane Micklethwaite and The Revd Richard Reakes as Interim Co-Area Deans of the Guthlaxton Deanery. This will be for a period of one year, running in parallel with their current roles.
The Bishop announces that The Revd Lydia Humphreys, Vicar in the Benefice of Shepshed and Oaks in Charnwood, will be retiring with effect from 30 June 2022.
The Bishop is pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Canon Jonathan Dowman as Associate Curate (House for Duty), to be known as Associate Priest, and Growing Faith Enabler, both within the Launde Deanery. This will be alongside Jonathan's Diocesan role as Pioneer Development Lead, which Jonathan will continue to do over two days a week, as well as his role as Interim Co-Area Dean. A licensing date is to be confirmed.

The Bishop is pleased to announce The Revd Canon John Barr has extended his term as Area Dean of Framland until 22 February 2023 and, The Revd Canon Rob Gladstone has extended his term as Area Dean of Goscote until 28 February 2023.
Further to the previous announcement, we can now confirm that The Revd Gary Weston will be licensed as Priest in Charge of Brampton, St Thomas and Assistant Curate of Brampton, St Mark, in the Diocese of Derby on Sunday 3 April 2022
