The Bishop announces that The Revd Mark Cooper, Curate in the Benefice of Holy Trinity Hinckley, has been appointed as Pastor of Central Church Warrington, a new Bishop's Mission Order in the Diocese of Liverpool.
Area Deans of the Guthlaxton Deanery
The Bishop is pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Jane Micklethwaite and The Revd Richard Reakes as Interim Co-Area Deans of the Guthlaxton Deanery. This will be for a period of one year, running in parallel with their current roles.
The Revd Lydia Humphreys
The Bishop announces that The Revd Lydia Humphreys, Vicar in the Benefice of Shepshed and Oaks in Charnwood, will be retiring with effect from 30 June 2022.
The Revd Canon Jonathan Dowman
The Bishop is pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Canon Jonathan Dowman as Associate Curate (House for Duty), to be known as Associate Priest, and Growing Faith Enabler, both within the Launde Deanery. This will be alongside Jonathan's Diocesan role as Pioneer Development Lead, which Jonathan will continue to do over two days a week, as well as his role as Interim Co-Area Dean.
