The Bishop announces the death of The Revd Jan Collins, aged 65, on 10th April 2021. In 1994 Jan was ordained as one of the first women priests, having served as a deaconess and deacon in the Dioceses of Newcastle and St Albans. Jan ministered in the Dioceses of Oxford and Peterborough, before retiring to Leicester where she held the Bishop's Permission to Officiate

The Bishop announces the death of The Revd Robert (Bob) Hutchings, aged 75, on Sunday 18th April 2021. Bob was ordained in 1988 and served his entire ministry in the Diocese of Leicester, most recently with the Bishop's Permission to Officiate. He leaves a wife, Jean, two adult children and their families.
The Bishop announces that The Revd Mick Norman, Rector in the Benefice of Sapcote and Sharnford cum Wigston Parva, will be retiring with effect from 30 July 2021. Mick's last service will be Sunday 11 July.
