The Bishop announces the death of The Very Revd Derek Hole, aged 87, on Saturday 4 September 2021.
The diocese has learned of the death of Ian Imlay MBE. Mr Imlay was a much loved member of St Nicholas Church in the city centre and was the organist there for more than 60 years. He has also played the organ at various other churches around the diocese including St Mary Magdalene in Kilby, St Peter's Church in Oadby and Leicester Cathedral.
The Bishop announces that The Revd Sue Frost, Rector in the Benefice of Newbold De Verdun, Barlestone, Kirby Mallory and Peckleton will be resigning with effect from 31 October 2021.
